【摘要】:1ThispartofISO8257establishesasystemofdesignationforpoly(methylmethacrylate)(PMMA)thermoplasticmaterials,whichmaybeusedasthebasisforspecifications.2ThetypesofPMMAplasticsaredifferentiatedfromeachotherbytheclassificationsystembasedonappropriatelevelsofthedesignatorypropertiesa)Vicatsofteningtemperature,b)meltmass-flowrate,c)viscositynumber(optional),andoninformationaboutintendedapplicationand/ormethodofprocessing,importantproperties,additivesandcolorants.3ThispartofISO8257isapplicabletoallpoly(methylmethacrylate)homopolymersandtocopolymersofmethylmethacrylate(MMA)containingatleast80%(m/m)ofMMAandnotmorethan20%(mini)ofacrylicestersorothermonomers.Itappliestomaterialsreadyfornormaluseintheformofbeads,granulesandpelletsandtomaterialsunmodifiedormodifiedbycolorants,additives,etc.ThispartofISO8257doesnotapplytoPMMAmodifiedwithelastomers.4Itisnotintendedtoimplythatmaterialshavingthesamedesignationgivenecessarilythesameperformance.ThispartofISO8257doesnotprovideengineeringdata,performancedataordataonprocessingconditionswhichmayberequiredtospecifyamaterialforaparticularapplicationand/ormethodofprocessing.Ifsuchadditionalpropertiesarerequired,theyshallbedeterminedinaccordancewiththemethodsspecifiedinpart2ofthisInternationalStandard,ifsuitable.5Inordertospecifyathermoplasticmaterialforaparticularapplicationortoensurereproducibleprocessing,additionalrequirementsmaybegivenindatablock5(seeclause3,introductoryparagraph).
