【摘要】:Solutionviscosityvaluesforpolymersarerelatedtotheaveragemolecularsizeofthatportionofthepolymerwhichdissolvesinthesolvent.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthesolutionviscosityofpolymersusingadifferentialorthemodifieddifferentialviscometer.Itisapplicabletoallpolymersthatdissolvecompletelywithoutchemicalreactionordegradationtoformsolutionsthatarestablewithtimeandtemperature.Resultsofthetestareusuallyexpressedasspecificviscosity,intrinsicviscosity(limitingviscositynumber),inherentviscosity(logarithmicviscositynumber),orrelativeviscosity(viscosityratio).1.2Sincethereismorethanonetypeofviscometeravailabletomeasureadifferentialpressure,followthemanufacturersdirectionsapplicabletotheequipmentbeingused.1.3ThesolutionviscosityvaluesarecomparablewiththoseobtainedusingaglasscapillaryofTestMethodD2857.Thistestmethoddiffersfromtheglasscapillaryinthatthesolventandthesolutionarecomparedatthesametimethatatestisrun.Withaglasscapillary,eachsolutionmustbereferencedbacktothesolventruninthesamecapillaryatthesametemperature.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSection8.Note1ThereisnoISOequivalentmethod.

【摘要】:Thethermalconductivityofinsulatingfirebrick(IFB)isapropertyrequiredfortheselectionofIFBforaspecificthermalperformance.Usersselectbricktoprovideaspecifiedheat-lossandcold-facetemperaturewithoutexceedingthetemperaturelimitationofthebrick.Thistestmethodestablishesplacementofthermocouplesandthepositioningoftestsamplesinthecalorimeter.ThistestmethodmustbeusedwithTestMethodC201.1.1ThistestmethodsupplementsTestMethodC201,andshallbeusedinconjunctionwiththattestmethodtodeterminethethermalconductivityofinsulatingfirebrick.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
